SATURDAYS AT 12 PM

The Melting Pot Soup and Singalong Saturdays is a weekly series that nourishes both the body and soul. Warmed by delicious homemade soup prepared by community cooks and congregation, participants will be taken on a musical journey of shanties, spirituals, hymns, and folk tunes led by veteran musician and songwriter Phil Roebuck. Beginning on December 2nd at 12 PM, we invite you to take part in this festive and heartwarming occasion!

Soup is prepared by local community cooks and members of the congregation, with ingredients sourced from donations of local vendors, making it a truly collaborative, locally-based soup!

Keep an eye on our social media, flyers across town and at the church to stay up to date with The Melting Pot Singalong Saturdays. Whether through purchasing soup, making a donation, or simply attending, your participation and support helps us cover the cost of the event and continue to operate FPC as a beloved community gathering space in the community

FPC is seeking volunteers to help with our Soup and Singalong efforts! From cooking, to serving, to ushering and cleaning, there are many roles to be filled! Come once or as much as you like!

In addition to supporting “The Melting Pot,” when you give to First Presbyterian Church Hudson you are supporting the preservation of this historic landmark of Hudson, a place of worship with a beloved congregation, and a venue for the arts and the community.
